Standing at the edge of the Korcari Wilds

Allow me to be the first to welcome you to Ostagar. The Wardens will benefit greatly with you in their ranks.

A lot happened at Ostagar to say the least. As soon as she arrived she was appointed her first task - find another Grey Warden named Alistair and report back to Duncan. She also introduced herself to Daveth, who seemed all too happy to distract himself from his suspicions by focusing on the women around him. There was also Ser Jory who seemed pleasant enough, if a little lack luster. Finally she caught up with Alistair. After it was established she wasn't a mage, being a dwarf and all, he finally accepted to accompany her back to Duncan.

Tainted Blood

He informed them of their next task - to gather 3 vails of darkspawn blood and some treaties that were left in an old ruin the last time they were here. It made Veyla wonder what other Grey Wardens had to do in order to get passed the first few tasks appointed to them. Regardless she didn't say anything and accepted the task in hand, wanting to get this whole joining ritual over and done with.

Gathering the darkspawn was a harder task than anticipated. The Korcari Wilds seemed like a vast swampland that was as foggy as it was wet. However they had soon filled up the vails with the necessary dawkspawn blood and all that was left was the treaties. Searching deeper into the Wilds they soon came across the ruins Duncan spoke of. However upon closer inspection of the chest, the chest had clearly been forced open at some point and whatever was in it was now nowhere to be seen.....`
